Mineral Exploration & Development Opportunities

Aggregate, landscaping stone, metallic mineral reserves, metallic mineral resources, showings of metallic mineralization, and geologic potential for discovery of commercial metallic mineral deposits.

Meriden Engineering represents clients who own identified mineral resources or defined mineral reserves of aggregate, iron ore, taconite, copper, nickel, cobalt, platinum group elements, gold, silver, titanium, vanadium and manganese, and properties with showings of or potential for zinc, copper, nickel, cobalt, platinum group elements, gold, silver, titanium, other metals, dimension stone, and aggregate in Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

Many of Meriden Engineering's client properties are located on the Gogebic Iron Range of Michigan and Wisconsin, the Marquette Iron Range of Michigan, the Mesabi Iron Range of Minnesota, the Duluth Complex of Minnesota, the Mellen Complex of Wisconsin, and in Archean or Proterozoic volcanic/sedimentary/granitic terrains in these Great Lakes states.

These metallic mineral reserves, metallic mineral resources, showings of metallic mineralization, and geologic potential for discovery of commercial metallic mineral deposits are available for exploration, evaluation, and development.

Meriden Engineering, on behalf of its clients, assists/partners with exploration and mining companies who undertake exploration, evaluation, and development of client properties, including technology assessment, environmental review, permitting, and financing. An example of Meriden Engineering proactive involvement in mineral development is the founding of Minnesota Iron & Steel Company, a proposed $1.4 billion taconite/direct reduced iron/steel project on Minnesota's Mesabi Iron Range.
